Senior BA Communication students conducted a leadership seminar titled “ASPIRE: Amplifying Service in Pursuit of Igniting in the Realm of Empowering Leadership” last Friday, April 24, 2026, at the Theatre Room of Smith Hall Building, Tarlac State University Main Campus.
The team consisted of Gwyneth Camacam,
Christian Capuno, Kenn Miranda, Mary Ann Manabat, Joshua Sapad, and CASS Governor, Clarisse Ann Dacanay.
In an interview with Gov. Clarisse Ann Dacanay, she described her experience in organizing the event as fulfilling.
"I had so much fun organizing an event na hindi sa org... nadidifferentiate ko yung experience in a sense na [sa] pagiinvite, mano-mano at hindi sa org. Overall, it was very fulfilling and insightful," she shared.
When asked about the preparation, Gov. Dacanay said they prepared a topic for college students, but still relatable to their members.
"Sa group kasi namin maraming leaders, may SK and, ako, sa council, and since yun yung fit sa interest namin yun yung napili naming topic," she stated.
Futhermore, during his talk, Architect Christian Aaron Bondoc highlighted the importance of authenticity and embracing one's identity in leadership.
"Leaders who embrace their identity inspires the other to do the same. Minsan sa sobrang passionate natin hindi na natin kailangan pilitin yung ibang sumama sa 'tin because they see you working hard and passionately doing that job," Ar. Bondoc said.
The seminar focused on leadership skills and roles, highlighting their impact on driving the team towards success.
