Biological Psychology Exhibit organized by sophomore students of AB Psychology 2-3 Eve from the College of Arts and Social Sciences were successfully held on April 24 at Rizal Park, Tarlac State University Main Campus.

In line with their Biological/Physiological Psychology course, students transformed the venue into an interactive space showcasing their understanding of the biological foundations of behavior through engaging displays, presentations, and models.

In an interview with Jezreel Zam Nocido, Rpm, the course instructor, she shared her pride in the students’ efforts and the overall success of the exhibit.

She highlighted how the event challenged common expectations about the subject and demonstrated the students’ ability to bring concepts to life beyond the classroom.

“Sobrang nakakaproud actually kasi, like sabi ko nga sa mga students ko, itong Biopsych subject is usually ine-expect ng mga students na classroom setup lang siya—learning specific scientific terminologies. Parang may expectation na boring yung subject,” she expressed.

Moreover, she emphasized that the exhibit became a meaningful platform not only for Psychology students but also for those from other academic programs, making the subject more accessible and engaging to a wider audience.

“Somehow very fulfilling na makita na brought into life yung plan na magkaroon ng bio psychology exhibit na kung saan we were able to show many student hindi lang yung mga student na nasa pscyh department, even yung mga student nasa iba’t ibang mga courses, Naipakita na hindi lang actually yung mga scientific processes na nangyayari sa mga models or systems but even yung practical experiences so somehow I think mas lalong na-appreciate ng student yung subject na bio psychology,” she added.

Furthermore, the class also prepared energizing games for every attendee making the exhibit lively. In addition, students confidently demonstrated and presented each model, guiding visitors through the concepts and every booth.

This exhibit marks the first of its kind conducted for Biological Psychology course alongside the exhibit of AB Psychology 2-1 Eve.
