Paulina Amore triumphs as Mx. CASS 2025

Paulina Amore of Communication Arts succeeds to the crown in the highly anticipated Mx. CASS 2025 last Friday, February 15, at the Theater Room, Smith Hall Building.
Despite a shaky start, Paulina charmed the crowd and judges’ heart during the Question and Answer portion, where they showed tenacity and gracefully answered five questions from the panel of judges, garnering a final score of 93.6, leading to the title win.
Mx. CASS 2025 flaunted a red and black Carnival Mystic theme wear decorated with playing cards for the Theme Wear Portion. Meanwhile, Paulina paraded a sequins-garnished white gown for the final look.
Paulina expressed great pleasure over the win after joining the competition for the second time. They further dedicate the win to the community, and their advocacy, sustainability and eco-management.
“It’s a very momentous win for me. And I’d say that this win is not just a win for me, but also my community, and my advocacy which I would further refine to be salient purpose when I represent our department in the university-wide pageant,” Paulina stated during the interview.
Furthermore, Paulina seeks further training in light of the Mx. TSU 2025, formerly Mx. Warrior TSU, emphasizing a holistic preparation.
“I would say that the most important preparation I would do is my holistic preparedness: physical, mental, emotional. And yeah, I’m looking forward to the experience.” Mx. CASS 2025 added.
The panel of judges consist of Senator Michelle Anne De Ocampo, SSS President Jeshren Nixe Alviar, Senator Angelo Mallari, Mutya ng Tibag 2nd Runner Up Celine Joy David, and Governor Alexander Adrian Ong.
Meanwhile, Mae Torres of English Language Studies placed 1st Runner-up, while Anthony Fider of Communication Arts won 2nd Runner-up. Finally, Kier Carreon of Communication Arts clinched 3rd Runner-up in the pageant.
