In collaboration with TSU Communicators' Guild, the Maharlika Ad Agency formally handed over promotional brochures to the Department of Chemistry in a turnover ceremony held yesterday, March 3, 2025, at the College of Science Building, TSU-Lucinda Campus.
On behalf of Department of Chemistry Chairperson, Prof. Claire Lagrana, TSU Chemical Society President Marlo Allen Tigolo formally accepted the promotional brochures.
Although unable to attend the event, Prof. Lagrana conveyed her gratitude through a written message, recognizing Maharlika Agency and the TSU Communicators' Guild for their dedication in producing materials that will help promote the program.
“I extend my sincere appreciation to Maharlika Agency and the TSU Communicators' Guild for their dedication and effort in producing this material, which will serve as a valuable resource in promoting our program to prospective students and all stakeholders,” Prof. Lagrana said.
“These materials will undoubtedly help students and parents better understand the opportunities that the BS Chemistry program offers. We acknowledge and commend the creativity and professionalism demonstrated in this project,” Prof. Lagrana added.
As part of their graded work for the course Advertising, Principles, and Practicing, Maharlika Ad Agency Director Kyla Mae Viuya shared that their objective in creating the brochure was to present the Department of Chemistry while also emphasizing its key strengths.
Viuya noted that they prioritized essential details to help students gain a clearer understanding of the opportunities available within the department.
"As we work on our brochure, our goal is not only to introduce the Department of Chemistry but also to highlight the aspects that make it valuable. We focus on important information that helps students better understand what this department has to offer," she said.
The turnover ceremony marked another successful collaboration between the TSU Communicators' Guild and fourth-year Communication students, reinforcing their commitment to creating quality materials that support academic programs.
