Kaya Natin Youth- Tarlac State University (KNY- TSU) successfully hosted a seminar titled "Student Forum 2026" last friday, February 27, at Priscilla Hall, TSU Hotel, TSU Lucinda Campus.

With the theme "Mula sa tinig hangaang sa tindig: Kabataan Kasama sa Pagbuo ng Maunlad na Lipunan", the seminar tackled three topics that were discussed by the invited speakers.

The first speaker, Mrs. Shandi A. Cordero- Soliman, a representative from the office of senator Paolo Benigno "Bam" Aquino IV, delivered a speech about the learning crisis the country is facing on his behalf. The lack of proper classrooms in public schools along with the Classroom Building Acceleration Program (CAP Act), which aims to build more classrooms, was discussed.

Meanwhile, Hon. Enzo Bruza, Executive Director of KNY Pampanga Chapter, discussed what it means to be an ethical, effective, and empowering leader.

During his talk, he mentioned what it takes to be an effective leader.

"Effectiveness is not about being busy. Hindi po porke puno po 'yung calendar niyo, kala niyo po busy, effective na 'yung organization. Hindi po ganon, it is about producing results that matter," he emphasized.

Mr. Bruza also answered a few questions during the QnA segment of the program.

"May change naman eh, paunti-unti 'yung pagbabago. 'Nung umpisa, hindi lang siya drastic change, kasi akala natin kapag sinabing nating change, agad-agadnadiyan na, hindi naman," he said when asked if he believes that the nation can still experience good governance.
"Kaya nga iniisa-isa natin na dapat lahat, mula sa matataas na posisyon hanggang sa mababang posisyon, mayroon tayong allies na dapat i-build din natin," he added.

On the other hand, Mr. Felipe B. Largo III, a Senior Political Officer from the office of Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan, discussed youth employment, underemployment and the declining number of younger generations in the field of agriculture.

College student councils of the university also contributed to the success of this seminar.
