The Oracle, official student publication of the College of Arts and Social Sciences, racked up numerous awards in this year's PASKUHAN: Literary and Arts Competition hosted by the Tarlac State University - Student Publication Unit.
Editor-in-Chief Angilene Dableo swept 1st place in Pagsulat ng Tula and 2nd place in Photography, while Associate Editor-in-Chief Jayane Feliciano earned 3rd place in Short Story Writing.
News and Desk Editor Ellyza Gutierrez clutched 2nd place in Pagsulat ng Dagli while Correspondents Chino Tangonan and Anthonette Aspiras landed 1st place in Flash Fiction Writing and 3rd place in Pagsulat ng Maikling Kwento respectively.
Themed, "Paskong Pinanday ng Kasaysayan, Paskong Magsisilang ng Panibagong Pag-asa sa Bayan," the competition accepted online entries for multiple categories until December 6.
Overall, The Oracle members secured a spot in six out of eight categories.
The winners received their certificates in the recently concluded Awarding Ceremony held last December 18 at the Student Center Building, Lucinda Campus, and will also be granted cash prizes.
