Assoc. Prof. Russell Arador, Dr. Vanessa Arador receive warm send-off after long service in TSU

Traces of Legacy. Tears and laughter filled the Theater Room of Smith Building as CASS and TSU faculty gathered on January 31, 2025, to honor the legacy of Assoc. Prof. Jose Russel S. Arador and Dr. Maria Vanessa P. Arador during their commemorative send-off celebration.

The College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) organized a commemoration of legacy and send-off party for Assoc. Prof. Jose Russell S. Arador and Dr. Maria Vanessa P. Arador, held in the Theater Room, Smith Building, last Friday, January 31, 2025.

Led by Tarlac State University - Office of Human Resources Development and Management, together with the Department of Communication Arts and TSU Communicators' Guild, the event aimed to look back on their careers and wish the couple and fruitful future ahead of their early retirement.

Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Agnes Macaraeg, CASS Dean, Dr. Aloysius Madriaga, Atty. Gherold Benitez, Prof. Winifredo Luis, and other esteemed faculties from CASS and Tarlac State University (TSU) who had been part of their journey attended the event.

Moreover, to commemorate their remarkable years in TSU, Assoc. Prof. Russell and Dr. Vanessa received messages from their colleagues, filling the Theater Room with laughter and tears.

Meanwhile, before formally ending the event, the couple took the chance to share their message of gratitude.

“Kung mahal niyo ako, mahal ko rin kayo...” Dr. Arador shared.

“You became a brother and sister to me […] Mami-miss ko yung samahan. Mamimiss ko yung mga sharing ng kwento, ng kwento ng ibang tao,” she added.

Assoc. Prof. Russell Arador was part of the TSU for 27 years, while Dr. Vanessa built her legacy in the institution for 17 years.
