Psychology Department of Tarlac State University successfully facilitated the enrollment of second- to fourth-year students for the first semester of Academic Year 2025–2026, held from July 29 to 31 at Smith Hall, Main Campus.

In coordination with COESSE, the Psychological Society, and faculty members, the three-day enrollment aimed to ensure a smoother and more systematic registration process.

Psychology Department Chairperson Angela Christinne Villavicencio–Pangilinan said their team addressed previous challenges by assigning clear responsibilities to each faculty member.

“Grateful naman kami na kumpleto 'yung faculty, at bawat faculty may kaniya-kaniyang task... para mas smooth 'yung process,” she stated.

COESSE President Alexandra Santiago also praised the cooperation between officers and enrollees, especially in handling fee collections.

"Even sa pag-collect ng Parent’s Council Fee, we sincerely appreciate 'yung cooperation and trust ng mga students sa officers,” Santiago noted.

She further acknowledged the university’s support in assigning guards to assist and remind students of their requirements upon entry.

Meanwhile, students expressed satisfaction with the process and shared positive sentiments about the upcoming semester.

Incoming fourth-year student Benedict John Aviles commended the new COESSE officers for streamlining the process.

"Mas maayos, mas mabilis. Wala ka pang 10 minutes o less than 5 minutes sa pila, naka-enroll ka na,” he said.

Second-year opt-out student Luz Shane Magat also found the process easy and efficient.

“Easy and quick, sobrang dali lang as long as you have all the requirements,” she said.

Despite the positive feedback, Santiago noted some confusion among freshmen regarding opt-out qualifications and late enrollment.

The enrollment, initially set for July 22–23, was postponed to July 29–31 due to inclement weather.
