Marking the start of Academic Year 2025–2026 preparations, Bachelor of Human Services (BHumServ) students completed a two-day enrollment held July 29–30 at Smith Hall, Tarlac State University – Main Campus.
Facilitated by the Human Services Department in coordination with Auxilium Sodality, a student-led organization, the process welcomed incoming sophomore and junior students.
To prepare for the new academic year, Auxilium Sodality president Hercy Jean Salas shared that their team had already begun planning events and activities even before the previous semester ended.
“Nag-usap-usap na kaming mga officers para sa mga events. May mga activities kami na mae-enjoy at makakatulong para makapag-socialize ang mga students... para maramdaman nilang welcome sila sa HumServ,” she said.
Meanwhile, incoming second-year student Prescious Lieanne Belizar shared that she felt excited yet slightly nervous about the new school year, seeing it as a fresh start and another chance to improve while spending time with her friends.
“Excited na may konting kaba... panibagong simula na naman, may chance ulit para mag-improve at makasama mga friends ko,” she said.
Fellow sophomore Alyssa Calo also reflected on her academic goals.
“Last year, parang napabayaan ko 'yung pag-aaral ko. So this second year, mas magfofocus at mas tututukan ko 'yung studies ko.”
With enrollment now completed and student organizations actively preparing, the new academic year—set to begin on August 18—marks a fresh chapter for the BHumServ community.
