Mx. Andrea De Jesus of District 1-C has ascended and is ushering in a new era as the crowned Mx. COMM 2024. The Smith Hall Theatre Room bore witness to this coronation on the afternoon of February 2nd, where Mx. Andrea De Jesus commanded the stage with an outstanding score of 87.5%.
ย Mx. De Jesus fluently defined the essence of being a Mx. COMM, emphasizing the importance of standing on oneโs own feet and inspiring those around them.
The stage was graced by remarkable contenders, each with a unique advocacy, made possible through the collaborative efforts of the TSU Communicator Guild and its sponsorsโHey Brew Hideout Cafรฉ, Amcardo, and Mang Kok.
Standing alongside Mx. De Jesus in representing the Communication Department for the forthcoming Mx. CASS 2024 are Mx. Paulina Amore, Mx. Ashlynn Raven Manio, and Mx. Rara Alexandria, claimed the first, second, and third runner-up positions with impressive scores of 86.83%, 86.83%, and 83.83%, respectively.
The ties were decided by the Chairman of the Board of Judges, Asst. Prof. Jazzel Manabat, the Director of the Office of Public Affairs, based on overall performances and alignment with the theme of Mx. Comm 2024โthe Hunger Games.
Prof. Manabat was joined by notable figures from Tarlac State University, including Mx. Fred Jzeidric โMajikaโ Tindongan, the President of Safe Space Society, and Mx. Jeysn Martie, the Mx. Warrior Fire 2022.
