CASS graduates concludes academic journey at the 36th Commencement Exercises.

Years of fruitful labor and sacrifices concludes success as the graduates of College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) received their diploma at the 36th Commencement Exercises of Tarlac State University (TSU) on July 15, 2025, at the Main Campus Gymnasium,
The college presented a total of 165 graduates, with 24 graduates from Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies, 89 from Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and 52 from Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Together with CASS is the College of Public Administration and Governance (CPAG).
Moreover, CASS students stood out academically, with 20 graduating Magna Cum Laude, 60 Cum Laude, and nine receiving Academic Distinction.
Guest of Honor and Speaker Hon. Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV delivered an inspiring address highlighting purpose, perseverance, and public service in achieving one’s goals. He acknowledged the perseverance of the graduates, noting that everyone faced challenges on the road to success.
“Lahat tayo may pinagdaanan bago tayo makarating dito,” Senator Aquino said.
He urged the graduates to pursue lives of purpose and service, encouraging them to remain committed to meaningful goals.
“Find, follow, and fight your purpose,” he added.
Furthermore, he emphasized the value of accessible education and its power to open doors for the youth.
“Kapag may libreng kolehiyo, may edukasyon at pagkakataon,” Senator Aquino concluded.
In addition, he expressed gratitude to the youth and to the people of Tarlac for their support during the elections.
TSU President Dr. Arnold Velasco congratulated the graduates and commended the academic performance of the students. Valedictorian Shaira Nicole Ramos, a Magna Cum Laude graduate from CPAG, also delivered a heartfelt speech of gratitude and encouraged her fellow graduates to serve with integrity.
Also present were Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Agnes Macaraeg, Atty. Wilmark J. Ramos, and Dr. Erwin P. Lacanlale, along with members of the Board of Regents, including Hon. Dennis Taniedo Go, Hon. Reynaldo Catacutan, Hon. Cherie Lyn F. Onia, and Hon. Maria Angelica A. Fresnido.
TSU’s 36th Commencement Exercises are scheduled to take place on the TSU Gymnasium from July 15-18, 2025.
