Official student organization of the Human Services Department, Auxilium Solidarity, hustled their way to finish the stations in the recently concluded Org Olympics held at Tarlac State University - Lucinda Campus.
Participants from various organizations showed their skills through engaging in different games and challenges for each station, including obstacle courses, jumping rope, balloon race, and other activities.
The competition proper encountered challenges, originally scheduled at 8 a.m. and was transferred to 9:30 a.m. due to some conflicts. Furthermore, Junior Financial Executive TSU Chapter (TSU-JFINIX), failed to meet the required attendance time, which resulted in disqualification.
Despite the initial disruptions, the event proceeded smoothly. Auxilium Solidarity’s Technical Committee Head, Neo Salmazan Samoy, demonstrated high levels of enthusiasm and teamwork in the different games.
"Sobrang nakakapagod s'ya pero mag-eenjoy ka talaga, nandun yung excitement kasi talagang surprise yung madadatnan mo kada station. Kailngan well coordinated kayo ng mga kasama mo at syempre mas madaling ma-accomplish kapag nag-eenjoy kayo,” Samoy expressed.
Samoy also explained the strategies they employed to navigate the event's challenges. He mentioned the different challenges and techniques they used in order to finish the stations successfully.
"Yung naging strategy namin kanina eh unahin yung mga mas malalapit na station para hindi sayang sa oras kung hahanapin mo yung malalayong stations. For every game naman tulong-tulong kaming mga officers sa pagbuo ng idea para ma-solve yung mga challenges na hinanda ng facilitators,” Samoy stated.
Due to time constraints and scheduling delays, awarding the ceremony initially planned at 2 p.m. today was postponed to Friday, October 18.
